Retail wrap: East River unveils future retail tenants including local Broham Fine Soul Food & Groceries
Houston-based Midway announced new retail tenants in phase one of its East River development at Jensen Drive and Clinton Drive, just northeast of downtown. Planned for a 2023 opening, East River will include 110,000 square feet of retail at the ground floor of the office buildings, garage, plaza and bayou pavilions.

Lick Honest Ice Cream, an Austin-based shop founded by Anthony Sobotik and Chad Palmatier selling artisan ice cream made from locally sourced ingredients, will open in a 1,124-square-foot space in East River 1 (Building C).
URBN Dental, an eco-friendly dental practice that is expanding in Houston, leased 2,612 square feet in The Depot.
Additional tenants in East River’s phase one include Method Architecture, Teal Construction and a new event venue and rooftop bar from the owners of The Astorian.
